In rugby, the open-side flanker lives in the friction, not the spotlight. You read the play early, get to the ruck, clear the clutter, and keep things moving. It asks for discipline, stamina, and a steady head when it gets loud. You are there to be useful, not to take the bow.

That kind of player has a particular temperament: alert, relentless, a bit unsung, happy to do the sharp work so the team can breathe. I have carried that mindset into work and life long after my knees stopped cooperating. Rugby gave me a metaphor for pressure, trust, and doing the hard yards so someone else can score.

I did not name the studio from a playbook. The number just stuck, and CHING 7 still sounds right: personal, a little sharp, and close to how I want this place to run. Clear the path. Build properly. Let clients run at what matters.
